KAYANGA CONFERENCE – A Revival in Generosity!!

Hello dears my sisters and brothers in Christ!

Thanks to you all that prayed for me on the conference that took place two weeks ago.  I believe that you have been praying and waiting to hear how was it.

The seminar and crusade really went well by God’s grace, and we saw God blessing and changing His people through the word that He put on our hearts to share. On the leaving day to the conference things wasn’t easy because I reached at the leaving hour yet having no money yet to work on all things for us to go, I tried to all people to borrow me some money to use in the crusade, but all I tried failed. Then at the last hour God reminded me a friend, and when I called him he brought me the money to use in the crusade immediately, and that I pay him back when am back from the crusade.

So when we got the money, we traveled to the crusade. They drove us for about 3-4hrs.  On our journey going, the road we drove on was full of pot holes. We were very squeezed in a small car with four seats that is supposed to be carrying four people, but there were eight of us.  We were not able to hire the big van.  So as we were driving, we reached the place where the road stopped and we were driven through the real bush.  We were all scared wondering where we were heading to, but thanks to God that we reached well to the conference ground.

We finally arrived and found people waiting for us.  They welcomed us with a high shout full of joy and happiness. It was in the late evening, but we had to have a crusade.  So we started and God had led me to minister in the seminar this time not in crusade much as last times.  So when the crusade started I welcomed one of the team members to come and preach on the crusade.  He came on and preached and people were blessed through the word and, praise God,  some got saved.

The next morning we went to the seminar and I had to share the word that God had put on my heart titled “LOVE IS THE KEY TO HEAVEN.” In this seminar were many people and among them were pastors, bishops and reverends/ zone leaders and overseers.  I was blessed to minister unto God’s servants and I can’t tell you how blessed they were to hear this word about love.  I shared much in the word of God and they all thanked God for the message and after the seminar one bishop came to me and said that this word was a real revelation from God.

At the ending of that day all people repented to God and promised to do as the word said to love one another no matter what.  There I led them in praying the prayer of repentance.  As I was praying for them, the ground was full of tears and repentance and and one servant came crying and bowed down and started to wash/clean my shoes with his tears.  On seeing this, God encouraged my heart confirming that this message had touched people’s hearts. I have never experienced this before and I give honor and glory back to Him.

Then the next/last day I had to add on the message to finish it with the sub-title “LOVE GOES TOGETHER WITH GIVING” and in this people were blessed and challenged the more.  At the end of the day many people repented to God for the selfish they have been staying in.  And as a result, they gave about 23 iron sheets for building a church, 2 bulls to build the church, two goats and some gave money in cash and other materials.

All this was done as the result of the word of Love that I shared about (if you would like to read on the verses we read you let me know).   We ended the conference and on closing, the pastor of the church we visited was happily thanking God for the work done and appreciated our time and all done. He gave me a hen with the team and another person gave me a hen too and also the pastor gave us a tin of millet as a team to share it.

So the conference went well and all this I have seen in this conference has encouraged me, because I haven’t seen such a response before, in that people being blessed through the word and then responding to it immediately by giving to church with happiness. Really this was great and I thank God to see that He can use me to bless His people through His word.

God had given me a vision before leaving for the crusade and I was happy to see it happening in people by responding to the word of God by putting in action. At the ending, the zone leader/overseer of the churches in the place called me and Beatrice (my wife) and prayed for us God’s blessings for the work done and prayed for provision to pay the debt we entered in for this conference and also prayed a blessing for the team. It was really great to be on this conference.

YOUR REWARD IS COMING SOON

Praise God my brothers and sisters in Christ!

After some time I have come with a message that the Lord has put on my heart to share with you to encourage you that your gift is on its way, coming to you no matter what. And am titling it “YOUR REWARD IS COMING SOON”

As we all know is that every work done must be followed by the reward.  I hope that we see it happen in some places mostly on the place of work. I have seen many people struggling to study and their main purpose is that after finishing their study they may get a job and be paid well.  And also there are some people here who are not well educated, but they too get jobs of using their power and get paid. So allow me to say that the reward is the payment of the work done.

You may be knowing it in another way, but for me I will say it like that according to the word of God in the book of Revelation 22:12 …

And behold l am coming quickly, and My rewards is with me, to give to every one according to his work.

So when we read this scripture we see that Jesus is saying that He is coming soon with His reward/salary to pay each one according to the work/job done.  I have mentioned about people who try hard in all means and get jobs so that they can be paid well.  The truth is that here (in Uganda) they don’t pay according to how you work. Here some people work hard and get paid little, and some work little and get paid much and this is mostly based on how educated you are.  Take the example of the primary teacher and university teacher. The primary teacher stays at school teaching from morning to evening and gets paid about $100 a month. Whereas a lecturer at the university comes to the school for only one-two hours, but get paid $500 a month.  When you look at this it seems not right.

That is how things are here, but with God it is not like that. He is a man of His words and He fulfills His words/promises.  He means what He says. As He said that He is coming with His reward to pay every one according to His deeds/work He mean it.  So I encourage you that you keep on doing the work that you are doing for your reward is near.

Now, who is to be rewarded?

Every one of us will be rewarded according to our deeds whether good or bad. If your work is well appreciated you will receive a reward appreciation.  If you deeds were wrong you will receive rewards of punishment. We can see again on Isaiah 40:10 that He will come with His reward.

So I want to encourage you my brother to keep on doing that work you are doing for your reward is near.

There are many challenges we face when working in any part and that is being despised, disappointed and discouraged by people near you.  But I tell you that those people have their rewards so you too have to keep on working for your reward.

You may work and get tired and feel to leave and go because your reward has delayed, but I want to encourage you that your reward must come if you stay in your position. And when you feel like getting tired, know that your gift is near and by the time you leave and get out of your position, you will lose your reward near.

A short story here:

There was a man and he liked cleaning the road. This man used to clean the road in morning and evening and no one was to pay him. So when he was cleaning the road someone saw him and thought this old man was getting much money of cleaning the road. So this other man started to ask himself how he can get that job of cleaning the road so that he can be paid too, but he feared to ask.

So he said that I will keep on checking on this man till I will see him not present. So when he was thinking of that, the other one that was cleaning started to ask himself, “Why am I cleaning this road? Who is going to pay me? By the way what am I gaining in this?”

All the answers he could get were telling him negative and so he felt to leave the work of cleaning. But when he was cleaning, a rich man passed on that road and saw him cleaning for some days.  So he went home and said that I will need to go and thank this man that cleans this road, because he has done a great work and I don’t get problems driving my car through this road. He got a big box and packet many gifts and got an envelope and put millions of money to come and thank the cleaner.

When the cleaner  got negative answers, he decided to leave the cleaning job.  Then when the other man that admired the cleaner was passing by, he  found that the cleaner left the job, so he said to himself, “Let me  clean this road and get the payment that this man has been getting.” So he started cleaning.

When he had just started, the rich man came with a big package to thank the cleaner, he found this new cleaner on the work. He called him and said, “Thank you for that good work that you are doing. Here is your reward, go and celebrate”.

So this man went home celebrating for the reward but the real cleaner went home crying.

What can you get in this story? Mine is that where you feel like getting tired is where your reward is coming.

So I encourage you my brother, my sister, to keep doing that good work that you are doing, and know that your reward is near, no matter what the situation is saying.

People near you may despise you, but God will always encourage you. And if you see that there is nothing you are doing there, try and do something for the Lord so that on the day of rewarding you get a reward too. And it is up to you now to decide of which reward to receive. Good deeds you get a good reward. Wrong deeds you get a reward of punishment. We can read this in the book of Hosea 4:9.

So which reward are you waiting for?

You who are doing good, keep on doing good.  You who have not been doing good, you can change today and start to do good and hope for the reward.

Allow me to stop here for now, but I will be sharing more messages later as the Lord leads.  Your comment on this message will mean a lot, as we advice each other in this journey of salvation.

Stay strong in the lord and keep doing good to all as you wait for your reward.

YES, YES, LORD!!!

Hallelujah!! Many said YES to Jesus! … at the Rwobuhura Crusade!

Hello my brothers and sisters in Christ! I hope you had a blessed Christmas times and I wish you all a prosperous new year.

I didn’t write much to wish you a merry Christmas and new year greetings, but I hope you all know that I was busy preparing for the crusade of ending the year 2010. I have now come to say thanks to you all for your support to help me do the work of God in fishing/winning souls for Jesus. May God bless you all for your support in all ways, because I believe that you have been there praying and your prayer helps a lot in doing this work.

As I was telling you, the crusade was to start on 28th December 2010 at 09:00pm, but it came to midday when I had not got the transport for machines and the team and the fuel. But God was faithful and helped me try by all means to see that we can go.

We left here for the crusade at around 05:00pm and I suggested that we don’t do the crusade on this day, but what surprised me was the number of people that were waiting for us at the church. We reached at around 7:30pm, but found a hundreds of people waiting at church and they said that we can’t sleep without sharing anything. So we had nothing to do apart from wiring/connect the machines and share little with them. I had to apologize for keeping them waiting till night hrs and encouraged them in few words that God has good plans for us all. So we went and rested. They touched my heart that night to see that they waited for the whole day and they really love the word of God.

Then on 29th we had a seminar in the morning and the message was to keep the vision/dream till it come to be fulfilled. This encouraged me a lot as we were sharing. We saw that there may come many things to discourage you from (or to kill) your dream/vision, but we need to go on as the pregnant woman. She feels much pain when carrying the baby in stomach, but she persists until she gives birth. Remember about Joseph. Many people were encouraged to go on no matter what. Then we went to the crusade in the evening and there it was wonderful. I saw the number of people that I have never seen in all crusades I have been to. We declared God’s love to all and many gave their lives to Jesus and we prayed for the sick and people testified immediately that they have received healing.

Then on 30th, it was wonderful because I was able to meet again with my friend pastor who helped me on learning English. (I hope you know about this if you have ever read on my testimony of how I learnt English.) It has been a long time not meeting him, but this time I was pleased to meet him again and He was happy to know how God is using me.

And also the pastor of the church that we were on was to be consecrated on that same day as a reverend. This pastor is the one that baptized me when I got saved, so I was happy to lead a crusade at the church he is leading and he was happy too for this. So we had a wonderful morning. That event was to take place at 02:00pm, so we had to have our seminar first and that day’s message was that we need to make our needs known to God, and cry to Him in all corners, for He is able to hear us and answer us. Remember about Hannah. So after the seminar his leaders came and led the event of consecrating him as a reverend and then went to the crusade. We had a MP candidate and LC5 candidate and needed our prayers to continue their campaign.  I was blessed to meet such honorable guys.

On the crusade, I preached and the Lord was with me, because when I welcomed people to get saved, many people came in front and gave their lives to Jesus and it was great.

Then after seeing lives won for Jesus, the Holy Spirit led me in worshiping, and while we were still worshiping people started to receive healing, and then I prayed for the congregation. Afterwards, many people wanted to testify, but it was late so I gave only three to testify. One was suffering back pain for years and couldn’t bend it, but after prayers she was healed and bending well. Another one had tumor on her neck and was seen outside, but after prayers it disappeared and was no longer feeling pain. The third one had pain in chest and couldn’t breathe well, but after prayers he was healed and feeling well. I have never experienced such move of the Lord in my crusades. This time it was wonderful and I felt it even before leaving Mbarara. So I really gave the honor and glory to God for His miracles of healing winning souls for His kingdom.

Then on the last day, the 31st, we had no seminar because we wanted people to rest and be strong enough for crusade and overnight prayer welcoming a new year.  So I travelled back to Mbarara for some reasons and then back to the crusade in the afternoon. We had our last crusade and then to the overnight prayers. I can’t tell you the number of the people that were there. I really liked the way these people love God and we thanked Him for all that got saved and I wish I had a video camera to cover the all attendance. About 350 people, young and old, gave their lives to Jesus.

So during the night on 31st, we had a wonderful time of worshiping, thanking God for 2010 and praying for His mercy and help in 2011. We entered the year while praying and thanking God. We ended at around 03:00am and got onto the truck and came back to Mbarara. It was hard to come back on the truck during that time of the morning and there were much coldness with much wind on the truck. I don’t know if any of you know about the wind on the truck, but we had to come back because we wanted to attend the services on the New Year day.

That’s little I have managed to share about this crusade. I ended up in little debt, but am trusting God to help me cover it in Jesus name, because His name was glorified in Rwobuhura. When we were leaving many people from other places were asking me to go and minister to there places too. I give honor and glory to God. WHO AM I?

Pray for God’s provision for me, so that I can be able to have machines (to use on crusades without hiring), a truck to transport them, a van to transport the team so that we can to do this work always.

CRUSADE UPDATES

LAST CRUSADE – 7th-11th December

I want to thank God for you my friends, brothers and sisters in Christ. And also thank you for your prayers to the recent crusade that I was ministering in.

Satan tried to fight me when the crusade was near by making my people sick but thanks to God that He helped me through your prayers and He healed them all. God helped us and got to the crusade safely and He really did His work in the crusade because He saved about 250 people.

And in the seminar many believers were encouraged through the message we were sharing on from Revelation 22:12-13 (Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done.  I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End).

On the second day, it rained much in the time of crusade we thought that people will not come for crusade but it amazed me to see that when the rain stopped in the late evening people came many and about 70 people gave theirs lives to Jesus and when we were praying for the sick many people were delivered and one lady in front vomited the witches that was disturbing her a long time.

So we came back safely thanking God for the work that was done there and keeping on praying for those that God saved to be strong in salvation till our Lord comes back for us.

NEXT CRUSADE:

I also request you to keep praying for our coming crusade because we are having few days to go and we believe to see God’s hand again working.

It will start on 28th, and go to 30th December, and then on 31st we will have a night prayer that will lead us to the New Year 2011.

God has helped us hire the machines, but we still need transportation and fuel.  So pray for us that may God provide all needs on this crusade and He save many souls in Jesus name

IT IS NOT YOUR POWER THAT WILL LEAD YOU TO YOUR SUCCESS

Praise God my brothers and sisters in Christ!

Here am back with another message which I hope will minister to someone because God has put it on my heart for the reason and I know his word comes for the purpose to some one. I am sharing my today’s message titled “IT IS NOT YOUR POWER THAT WILL LEAD YOU TO YOUR SUCCESS”.

You may be asking yourself what I mean by this title, but I request you to take time and read on this message and by the time you finish it you will understand what I mean, and if you don’t, feel free to ask.

One time I was asking myself why some people fight hard and struggle a lot, but do not succeed, and some do not struggle much or work hard but succeed. This spent some days in my thoughts and minds trying to look for the answer, so one time I went in my praying time and God gave me this message.  That it is not someone’s power, education, hard working, big family, many relatives or friends that will help him/her to succeed, but only the belief and trust that that person has in the lord.  And on this I remembered some people that I have seen struggling and trying hard, but not succeeding and I also remembered some people who did not hardly fight but succeeded.  So this confirmed to me that it is not someone’s power or knowledge that helps to succeed.

Everybody on this earth wants to be strong, well known, succeed in life, and be rich and this has made many people mad, fighting each other to gain honor.  That’s where we see nations fighting, presidents fighting, families fighting and even churches fighting.  The reason is because they want to succeed in life, but don’t know how to do so and so they try according to their knowledge.

I don’t like to speak my own words basing nowhere, but like to base on the word of God so we are going to see one well known young man that succeeded and this man is none other than David. We are reading from the book of 1 Samuel 17.  (I can’t type the all chapter here because the message will be too long but you can read on the chapter yourself.)

When we are reading in this chapter, we see that these people of two groups were in the war and both of them wanted to succeed in their battle and these people were all having soldiers well tried to fight. And in the two groups, there is one group (Philistines) that was seen as stronger than the other and the other group (Israelites) was seen to be a bit weak at first.

From verse 4-10 shows how the first group had a champion, strong and hard working man and well trained to fight, and himself speaking that he is strong enough to kill and destroy. And on verse 11 we see that the second side was scared and terrified because no one among them looked like the other champion.  Now it means that in their hearts they were already defeated, because they didn’t know how to succeed though they wanted. This is also to some people in this world. They are defeated before starting the battle, but thanks to God that there is some that know what to do and how to succeed.

On which side are you?

When we continue reading we see that from 12-15 shows the family with some guys old enough and seemed trained to fight going with the army, but one (David) seemed weak and useless, left behind because he was not strong enough to fight, and not well known as a fighter. This happened on that time and till now it is still happening.  We see with our usual eyes and see some people as useless, but God is seeing them as bold and strong enough to fight, and he believes in them more than these we choose on our own.

Continue reading, verse 16 shows that the strong side (Philistines) continued challenging the weak seemed side (Israelites) for some good long time for many days more than a month because none of these people (groups) knew how to succeed.

Then from verse 17-21 shows the other young man (David) that was seen as useless on the battle is now getting an opportunity of coming to see what was going on.  This was God’s plan to show his power to the Philistines, that he is the Lord God, and to the Israelites that he needed them to trust him.

And from 22-24 shows the young man (David) reaching the battle ground and shows the champion keep intimidating the Israelites and shows Israelites scared of the strong man, yet they came knowing themselves as well trained too.

From verse 25-29 shows the young boy coming near some people on the battle ground and he tried to ask what was taking place.  But when his brother heard him he was burned up with anger, because he knew that this one was to die in the battle because he was too young to fight. He talked to him badly, but this boy was humble and knew that his coming there was God’s plan.

My brother and sister I want to encourage you never to fight for yourself when you left out, but knowing the one you believe that is able.

Read on verse 32, the one seemed weak, useless and too young to fight is now encouraging the commander not to loose heart and not to encouraging him only, but promising to fight the battle and win.  But still on 33 shows the commander is despising this young man because he knew that they are to overcome the battle on their own and so he saw this man was not old to fight, and not trained to fight.

Verses 34-37 shows the young man explaining how God used him to fight animals and showing that the same God can help him to overcome this battle.  Here shows that David knew that his killing the other animals was not by his power on his own, but was God that used to help him.  So he believed that the same God will help him again, not his own power to help him.

From 38-44 shows the young man now accepted to fight and they dressed him the battle garments, but he could not fit them because he was not used of them.  So he refused them and went with miner things compared to the biggest of the battle. And here we continue seeing the champion seemed stronger cursing the young man and intimidating him, but the young man never got scared.

I like 45, 46 and 47 make sure you read on them. They show well that David knew that he was not to succeed on this battle on his own, but he was to overcome because of the Lord and he was to attack in the name of the Lord God.

It is not by the spear or sword that Lord serves, the battle is the Lords.  He knew how to succeed and who to help him succeed!

Whom do you think to fight your battle?

48-58 shows how the champion was put to shame by a despised young boy by the help of Father God in heaven. This young man defeated the champion with only a stone.  Imagine a stone! It was not a stone that killed this man! … not David that killed the champion!.. but it was the power of God, through David’s faith and his believing in the Lord.

Now I want to tell you that all people despised David, and none of his brothers or fellow Israelites that hoped him to fight and overcome, but he knew that there was some one to help him overcome and fight on his behalf.

I know that there are some battles you are fighting in your ministry, life, family, business and you want to succeed and you have really tried a lot.  But let me discourage you that you will not overcome that battle if you continue fighting for yourself, unless you allow God in to fight for you that battle.

And I want to encourage you that the moment you trust him(God) to fight for you, he will fight and overcome the battle, and you won’t remain the same, because from this day David was known to many nations, and till now we are reading on him.  But if he tried to fight for himself, we would be reading on him as a loser.  Instead, he put his hope and trust in the lord to help him succeed in the battle.

Which battles are you fighting or lay before you? Do you want to overcome? Trust unto the Lord and let him fight it for you for the battle is his.

Do you want to succeed in life? Let him be your number one in everything.

There are some of you who are like David, but denied a chance to reach the battle ground because you are seen to be weak, too young to fight, not trained to fight, and even not used of fight.  But I want to encourage you that God is planning for you, and you will one day get a chance to that place may be in the ministry, or anywhere, and the Lord will show himself through you in Jesus name.

Don’t fight for yourself, but let God fight that battle for you. Don’t look at your education, money, relatives or wealth, and see that you can do all things on your own, or look on you power and see that you are powerful enough to overcome everything.  It is not your power that will help you overcome.

I encourage you all that the Lord God is a loving father, and he wants to see you winning.  The moment you lift your trust in him, you will win all battles laid before you, and you will see God’s power more and more. If you fight or struggle on your own you will struggle for nothing and will be defeated, but if you let him fight for you, he will lead you to success in Jesus name.  Can someone there say amen?

A prayer: Father God in heaven, Lord Jesus Christ, I thank you for your love to all of us who believe and trust in you, and I thank you for this opportunity to speak to this person reading this message. I pray Lord that you put this word in our hearts that we may always remember that you are the one to fight for us. And whenever you stand to fight for us, we overcome. Fight for that lady in struggle to keep her family, fight for those parents in struggle for their children and families and fight for those business people struggling for their businesses, and fight for your servants struggling for ministries, Lord.  I believe that you are fighting for them and I pray you forgive us where we have not trusted you and help us to keep on trusting you in all corners, because when we trust you, you can not leave us, but will help us succeed in Jesus name. I believe that you are doing this and am praying through Jesus Christ, our Lord and savior, Amen and amen.  (You there can say amen too.)

ARE YOU SURE THAT YOU ARE NOT WORSHIPING IDOLS?

Hello my beloved brothers and sisters in Christ,

Hope you are doing well in Christ whether by faith or by sight. After a long time not posting some notes or blogs here, I have come with this one now which I felt that I should share with you. I don’t know why but I believe God want to talk to some one and I pray it be useful.

Am titling this message a “ARE YOU SURE THAT YOU ARE NOT WORSHIPING IDOLS?” IDOLATRY.

As I was reading the bible in the book of Romans 1:18 -25, I found/discovered that these days people do worship idols unknowingly and others do knowing that they are worshiping idols, which is not good before God. I request you to read those verses from your bible,  there because I have not put them all here, but you can read there yourself, as I pick on some to make the message short for readers.

From verse 18 to 23 shows well that God’s ways and his mighty and power was shown to people through what he was doing.  But though he shown them all signs, they never thanked him but they claimed to be wise.

And this is seen more these days here in my country. I don’t know there? Whoever God tries to use in amazing ways for his glory, one starts to boast and be proud of oneself and at the end one ends up being worshiped as god.  So at the end of verse 20, it says that people will have no excuse, because He used them and they knew whom He was, but they only glorified themselves.  And the passage continues to show in 21 that though they knew Him, but they never glorified Him, but they glorified themselves and they started to worship other gods.  Verse 23 shows that they started worshiping other gods.

Here is a question:  Are you worshiping Him or is His glory given to something else?

I know the answer may be “Yes, I am worshiping Him,” but if you can research well you are not. Today many things are worshiped instead of God and you there can tell the truth if you see what is happening all over the world. People are fighting one another because of money, wealth, titles and great name and many other things.

Here we have seen a problem and sometimes it has become difficult to preach the gospel to the non-believers because of the battles between the church.  If you try to find out why these churches are fighting, you end up finding that the problem is MONEY!!

You can find two churches in one building and when the time to worship come, they both start and people wonder what is going on.  Here is ask myself, are they really worshiping God or something else?  Here the next step must be how you can have the one go away and you stay alone in this place. So how do you think that one will do that to win the other?

I ask you also to ask yourself there, is there someone you feel you are not happy with or not well with, and is there something that happened between you two, but was it Godly or it was money, business matter or something else? Then if its Godly, look for the answer from Him, but if it is not, repent in your heart for worshiping idols.

I also want to ask you as I ask my self, what is on your mind all times or what are you thinking of most times? Being a great business person, known preacher in the all world, is it to be a rich man in your country, or to know God more and be near him? After answering that then check yourself, are you really worshiping Him or something else?

On verse 25 shows that instead of worshiping God the creator, we worship and serve His creations. I want to tell you this is true, because these days we think about our wealth more than God, on our children more than God, our ministries more than God, our Churches more than God.  But it should God more than all these other things.

So my bro or Sis I request you to bend down your head there on your computer and ask yourself, am I serving God or some thing else?  Then pray in your heart for forgiveness and pray He help you to worship Him in truth and spirit.

Here we pray:

My beloved Father God in heaven, I thank You for Your love to me and I pray You forgive me wherever I have worshiped anything else not You.  Help me to put You as my number one in all things, so that I glorify Your name forever till I overcome this world. I pray and believe this in Jesus name. Amen.

Battling the “What ifs?”

Praise God my love brothers and sisters!

Am posting this blog here on this site and i believe that if you read it well, think about it, it will bless you and be a big blessing to you.

An old sea captain once asked a naval student how he’d handle a sudden storm. “I’d throw out an anchor, sir,” he replied. “But what if another storm approached?” asked the captain. “Then I’d throw out another anchor,” He said. “And what if storms just kept coming?” the old man asked. “I’d keep throwing out anchors,” said the student. “Hold on, son,” said the captain, “where are you getting all those anchors?” “From the same place you keep getting all those storms, sir” came the reply!

When you’re in the thick of things,  it’s easy to get overwhelmed by the storm that’s raging inside you and start listening to the “what ifs.”

What if the cheque doesn’t come on time…or the stock loses value…or your mate walks out…or the test results are bad.

The list is endless.  And because Satan knows that “fear involves torment” (1 John 4:18), he’ll keep pouring it on. If he can’t get you puffed up through pride, he’ll try to bring you down through fear.  It’s his best tool.  But you don’t have to take it! Paul says,

• “Leave no room…for the evil [give no opportunity to him]” (Eph 4:27).
• Jesus told us not to be “fearful…intimidated…and unsettled” (John 14:27).
• Remember, “The days of the…afflicted are made evil [by anxious thoughts and forebodings], but he who has a glad heart has a continual feast [regardless of circumstances].”

Here’s the bottom line:,

God is “utterly trustworthy…He will… [Fulfill his call by hallowing and keeping you]” (1 Thessalonians 5:24).

So, no matter how big your problem is today, keep trusting God and he will bring you through!

“We can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.” (2 Corinthians 1:4, NIV.)

The most loving thing we can do when someone is grieving or in pain is to “be there”. Even when we have nothing to offer except our presence, even when being there is painful to ourselves. The Bible says God “comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort (others)…with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.”

One of the surest roads to spiritual and emotional health is helping others. When Job began to pray for his friends, God healed him and restored everything he’d lost. (See Job 42:10).

We were born with natural empathy for those who are hurting. Even babies in a nursery start crying when other infants cry.  Compassion, which literally means, “to suffer with”, is the ability to be moved by the troubles of others. When we reach out from our own pain to help others it comes back to us in healing and a sense of worth.  Let’s say, “You take it all in.  You let the pain touch your heart and you turn it into compassion.  What a splendid way to go through life, bringing blessing to all we touch.”

A lady who lost her husband said: “What helps me most is to have somebody try and understand what I’m feeling.”

A cancer patient said, “Just to sit here and let me hold your hand.  It helps when someone’s close.”

Today ask God to make you more sensitive to the needs of those around you. And when He answers your prayer and puts someone into your path, don’t be too busy to care. In other words, “be there”.

Last week as I was going back home from the town, I reached the place of a Moslem man and I found there many people lining from outside the house gate to the door of the house.  I asked myself what was going on at that man’s house.  But when I came closer to pass and continue my way home, I saw this man giving some things to all people who were there, and what he was giving them were?  A quoter of posh, a quoter of sugar, a quoter of rice and little cooking oil!  This man used to do this in time of their fasting.  (I hope you all know that Moslems have their month of fasting.)  So at this time I asked myself why this man did this when it was not the time for their fasting?  But quickly I remembered that these days are not easy to many people in terms of food.  So I discovered that when he saw people in hard time he decided to share what he had with others but bad enough to Moslems only.

I also remembered, one time it was during their fasting time and I was going back home I found our fellow born again on the line with Moslems covering his head like Moslems that she may also take their share (he gives them food everyday for the whole month until their fasting time ends).  So I asked myself, will God help us to understand the secret in giving?  And again I asked myself, what will this man gain from giving his things to people but not saved? If he can get saved,I think he can be a kind man.

What I would like to say is that let us try to “BE THERE” for some who needs help if we can, and I have discovered that giving can win somebody’s heart to follow you. Think about it and try to be there for your neighbors as you can, and God will richly bless you and protect you all times.  (See Psalms 41:1-3.)

LOVE IS THE KEY TO HEAVEN!

Praise God my brothers and sisters in Christ!

I greet you all with the great love of Father God, through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Am very happy to post this letter so that you may read it and comment on it, so that I can also learn much from you as we are learning from each other. Feel free to comment on this blog as you want and your comments means a lot to me. Am posting it for you all and I believe that we will all be blessed in Jesus name.

I have spent a long time asking God to direct me how I will post this message on this site until I felt boldness in me to write this way, titled “LOVE IS THE KEY TO HEAVEN” and you are free to add on my words down as you are thinking on it. After seeing all that is happening in the world because of hatred, I discovered that it is only love that can help us to inherit the kingdom of God. What do you say according to this message?

LOVE IS THE KEY TO HEAVEN.
When you read the most known verse in the book of John 3:16, it shows that love is the one that helped us to have Jesus on earth as our Lord and a savior.

(For God so loved the world and gave his only begotten son , that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life).

This verse shows that this is how God wanted to show us that he loves us so much.   You can read this verse many times as you can so that you may get it well and some bibles reads that (For this is how God loved the world………)  Still it is meaning the same.  So on my own a saw that Love is the one that helped us, or is the key for us to have a chance to inherit the Kingdom of God.

There is another verse in the book of Romans 5:8 showing us that by God’s love we are forgiven of our sins through the blood of His Son, Jesus Christ.

(But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us).

As you are reading these two verses, ask yourself. Is it true Love is the key to heaven or not?

After seeing that it is true love is the key to heaven, ask yourself who is supposed to love and who are supposed to be loved and how to love him or her?

Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against one of your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the LORD. (Leviticus 19:18)

Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for he who loves his fellowman has fulfilled the law. The commandments, “Do not commit adultery,” “Do not murder,” “Do not steal,” “Do not covet,” and whatever other commandment there may be, are summed up in this one rule: “Love your neighbor as yourself. (Romans 13:8-9)

The entire law is summed up in a single command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” (Galatians 5:14.)

John 15:13 says, “Greater love has no one than this. that he lay down his life for his friends.”

Those are some of the verses that are telling us more about Love and when you read verse 9 of Romans chapter 13 it shows that all other laws and commandments are summed in one commandment which is LOVE.  And this means that to love one another is not joke, but is a command from God.

This love that Bible talks about is the unconditional love, where we have to love the unlovable because it is a love from God, and only those who know God can Love that unconditional Love.  And the only thing that I can tell you to help you in this is to try and get to know God so that he can help you to love his unconditional Love. You can even read these verses

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. 10This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 11Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. (John 4:7-11).

As you are reading these verses, how do you understand them mostly verse 7 and 8?

It is showing that no question and no doubting. He who loves is born of God and he who does not love does not know God. My question now is “If you are not born of God, you are born of whom?” Then will you enter the heaven? What has caused you not to be born of God? It is only love that can lead you to heaven. How good is verse 12!? When we love one another God lives in Us. That is wonderful my brothers and sisters and it is good to have God in us, so let us L.O.A

So my brothers and sisters, I beg you to try and love, because I know that to love is not a joke and it is not easy to love, but for the sake of heaven, we must love and love with unconditional love.  Remember the bible says that there is no commandment that is greater than this of loving one another. (See Mark 12:31.)

And I would like to ask you not to love only your friends, but love all people and mostly your enemies, and your love to them will win their hearts for Jesus and the glory will be back to God. (See Matthew 5:43-44.)

There are many verses in the bible that talks about God’s love and some says that God loves those who love him.  Some people do say that even if they do not love other, God loved them many years ago. But I would like to remind you that the bible usually say that God loves those who love him and we have discovered that those who love others are the only one loves God and that they are the one that are born of God.

Some do ask that when you love some one and he annoys you, what can you do to that person? Here is a good chapter that can help you to maintain your love to all people – 1 Corinthians 13:1-13!  Take time and read on it!

There are many verses in the bible that talks about love and I believe that it will be good if you take your time, and find them out and read.  Learn more about love as am trying to do the same because the world is in trouble because of lacking love.  People are rich in many things, but poor in the word of love, and if you read this message well and find out more other verses I believe that you will agree with me that love is the key to heaven. I have seen many people who are well trained about the word of God, but fighting one another only because of lacking love in their ministries and lives.

So am not challenging you and not forcing you all, but I ask you as brothers and sisters in Christ that take time and read much about love. After reading about it, ask yourself, Are you okay with the love of God(unconditional Love) or there is some where you need to change? If any where needs a change, obey and ask God to help you and teach you how to love.

I promise you that God will help you to love if you ask him so, because he is our loving father and he answers.
